Kamagayan Green Zone

KGZ is an urban permaculture development site located in the heart of Cebu City. It is off P. del Rosario St., right beside the Kamagayan Barangay Hall. It showcases simple, low tech and appropriate environmental solutions, namely: Rainwater collection from the roof, rainfed pond, gravity tank and drip irrigation, aquaculture with tilapia, diversity garden, organic vegetable garden, herb and medicinal garden, composting toilet, rocket stove, greywater system, composting and materials recovery facilty.

The site was designed by Joel Lee, Permaculture teacher and designer who is a registered teacher of the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia

sana hindi lang ang permaculture ang i-promote. maaring mapaganda at ma-improve natin ang env't pero wag natin kalimutan na we should start on ourselves. no matter how much u developed your environment, mitigate the problems of global warming..you must not forget that a person's character matters most. sa totoo lang..walang kabuluhan ang lahat ng iyan..kung ikaw mismo sa sarili mo plastic ka sa ibang tao.
